SIMONSWERK uses various social media platforms to communicate with its target groups. The editorial implementation and region-specific content generation is the responsibility of the regions. GROUP Marketing provides the corporate design guidelines for this purpose.

SIMONSWERK uses social media communication to pursue external, internal and country-specific goals in order to communicate with its target groups. The definition of these goals and the respective target groups is the responsibility of the region.

Social media platforms

The currently defined framework includes the social media platforms Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The development of further, country-specific social media platforms is possible after consultation with GROUP Marketing.

Content strategy

The content strategy defines which content can be shared most effectively on which channel. Developing and defining overarching content categories helps with the strategic distribution of content. If the region chooses its own content strategy, this should be communicated to GROUP Marketing with reasons.

Guidelines

SIMONSWERK aims to make the best possible use of the opportunities offered by social media. This can only be achieved if all participants behave appropriately and maintain a consistent communication style. All comments and postings are made in a business context and shape the public image of SIMONSWERK.

Editorial planning

The basis for social media communication is an editorial plan, which is drawn up in advance for a period of one month by those responsible in the respective regions. The editorial plan is shared with everyone in the exchange folder on TEAMs.

Design & Guidelines

The social media guidelines are developed by GROUP Marketing and define the design requirements for a consistent appearance of social media profiles. The general design guidelines are available for this purpose. In addition, templates and recommendations for images and moving images are available, as well as a briefing on photo creation.

Exchange folder

To simplify collaboration between GROUP members, all content, video and image material has to be shared in the exchange folder in TEAMs and made available to all other channels.

Analysis and reporting

The regular evaluations show the development of social media communication and form the basis for further optimization. The metrics enable comparisons of postings and the derivation of optimal strategies.

The GROUP KPIs can be found in the templates. Regional or individual KPIs can be added independently. The evaluations should be shared in the TEAMs folder.

Responsibility and implementation

The regional managers responsible for social media must be named to GROUP Marketing. Editorial coordination with GROUP Marketing takes place on a regular basis.
